5 Guilt-Free Snacks to Keep You on Track

Snacking can be part of a healthy lifestyle when you choose nutrient-packed options. These five guilt-free snacks are perfect for keeping your energy up and your goals on track:

1. Chia Seed Pudding

Chia seeds are tiny powerhouses packed with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and antioxidants. To make chia seed pudding, mix 3 tablespoons of chia seeds with 1 cup of your favorite milk (almond, coconut, or dairy), stir well, and let it sit overnight in the fridge. Top it with fresh berries, nuts, or a sprinkle of cinnamon for a delicious, nutrient-dense treat!

2. Roasted Chickpeas

Roasted chickpeas are not only crunchy and satisfying but also an excellent source of plant-based protein and fiber. Rinse and dry canned chickpeas, toss them with olive oil and seasonings like paprika, garlic powder, or cumin, and bake at 400°F for 25-30 minutes. They’re perfect for curbing salty snack cravings.

3. Greek Yogurt and Fruit

Greek yogurt is high in protein and probiotics, which support gut health. Pair it with antioxidant-rich fruits like blueberries, strawberries, or kiwi for added vitamins and a natural sweetness. For an extra boost, sprinkle on chia seeds, granola, or a drizzle of honey!

4. Veggies and Hummus

Raw veggies like carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes are low in calories but high in vitamins and fiber. Dip them in hummus, a protein-rich spread made from chickpeas, for a balanced snack that’s as satisfying as it is healthy.

5. Apple Slices and Almond Butter

Apples are a great source of fiber and natural sweetness, while almond butter provides healthy fats and protein to keep you full. Slice up a crisp apple and spread a thin layer of almond butter on each piece. For an extra touch, sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon or chia seeds!

These snacks are not just low in calories but also packed with nutrients that support all day energy! Incorporating them into your day helps you avoid processed snacks while staying aligned with your health goals. Plan by keeping these ingredients stocked, and snack guilt-free!
