4 Ways to Get the Most Out of Your Workout
We have all had those days when our energy or motivation just is not there. You might still be going through the motions, but it is just not hitting the same. Don’t worry, it happens to everyone! Here are four simple ways to reignite that motivation and make every workout count.
1. Ease In with a Warm-Up
Sometimes you need a little push to get into the workout groove. Starting with a focused warm-up can be just the ticket to get your head in the game. Run through your warm-up routine two or three times or mix it up with new movements to keep things fresh. Whether it is a high-intensity class or a more relaxing stretch session, there is something for everyone!
4. Reward Yourself for Crushing Your Goals
Knowing there is something special waiting for you at the end of a workout can be incredibly motivating. It does not have to be after every workout, set a goal like hitting the gym 15 times in a month and treat yourself when you reach it. Your reward can be anything that excites you, like dinner at your favorite spot, a new workout outfit, or that gadget you have been eyeing. A little treat can go a long way!
